Journalist Facing up to 6 Months in Jail for Filming Police, What You Need to Know
Jeff Durkin with We Are Change CT breaks down an incident where Anti-Media Journalist Patti “P.M.” Beers was arrested for filming the police. The incident took place on January 18th, 2014 where she along with a handful of others were arrested by the Fullerton Police allegedly for ‘failure to disperse’. Patti Beers was covering a protest that was in response to the not guilty verdict for the two officers involved in the beating of Kelly Thomas.
